Chipco Preserve (501c3) is an Organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since 2023.  We represent the Sioux Nation at the United Nations Permanent Forums on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII).

Sustainability

Environmental Education

 

Educate the public regarding the conservation, preservation, and restoration of natural resources and wildlife and conduct outreach on a local, regional, and global scale. We specialize in marginalized communities, such as Veterans and Native American communities.

Sustainable Farm

 

Promote sustainable agriculture by growing and sharing products, holding Food Systems Dialogues, and pursuing food sovereignty.

Visit Us

Chipco Preserve provides a wildlife habitat with minimal disruptions to nature.  Access is provided for our interns and those attending our environmental education programs, but we are currently not open to the general public.
