See what Pasco County has in store here.

A retrospective update on the 2020 effort:
Pasco County’s Earth Day celebration has long been a community tradition, bringing families, volunteers, educators, vendors, and environmental partners together to celebrate the place we call home. Held annually at Crews Lake Wilderness Park, the event has helped residents learn practical ways to protect local land, water, wildlife, and neighborhoods through recycling, conservation, native plants, waste reduction, and everyday stewardship.
The 2020 celebration carried special meaning because it marked the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Across the country, Earth Day 2020 became a reminder that caring for the planet does not depend on a single event or gathering. Even during a difficult year shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic, the message remained clear: environmental responsibility begins where we live.

For Keep Pasco Beautiful, Earth Day has always been about more than one day on the calendar. It reflects an ongoing commitment to reducing litter, encouraging waste reduction, promoting beautification, and helping residents see themselves as part of the solution.
The spirit of Pasco County Earth Day 2020 still matters. Whether planting native species, recycling responsibly, reducing single-use plastics, joining a cleanup, or teaching children to respect the outdoors, every action helps build a cleaner and more sustainable Pasco County. Earth Day reminds us that the work continues—and that each of us has a role in keeping Pasco beautiful.
